THE DAY THAT BROKE MY HEART
It’s been two years since I lost my baby and I still get emotional that he’s gone. If you’ve ever lost a fur baby, this blog may help to articulate the feelings of love and loss that our pets leave in our hearts.
I wasn’t aware I could love an animal the way I love my Brindle Boxer, Tyson. I also wasn’t aware that I could experience grief so profound, heart-wrenching and soul-shattering that even writing these words would reduce me to tears.
This is the story of the day that broke my heart...

WANTING VS. WILLING
The other day, my sister and I had this beautiful conversation about the difference between “Wanting” and “Willing.”
For years, I’d wanted to be a life coach, published writer and motivational speaker but I hadn’t taken any steps or made any efforts to manifest these desires. I had a huge WANT to have these things but I didn’t have the WILL to do them.
It’s the difference between enthusiasm and effort.
When you want something, you can dream it, say it and feel it but without actionable steps, it will never be more than lip service for the type of exceptional life you wish you had.
When we are WILLING, we make the sacrifices and put in the necessary effort. The “willing” is where the magic happens. It’s also where a lot of discomfort lies.

10 TIPS FOR BUILDING HEALTHY BOUNDARIES
Have you ever said “Yes” when you wanted to say “No” and then felt totally resentful?
Yep, me too.
That’s the tricky thing about being an empath, healer and nurturer. Not overloading your plate is difficult because of a genuine desire to be of service to others.
Tricky thing is, eventually your cup will run dry. Then you’ll operate from a place of hostility and obligation which feels yucky and has a distinctly negative energy.
In order to keep your vibe high and your interactions healthy, you’ve got to establish healthy boundaries that protect and empower you. The deeper the commitment to your boundaries, the more effective you’ll be with every interaction.

TO LOVE AND LET GO
Love isn’t always enough. This is my journey of releasing men who, though I loved deeply, were not my match. Yet just because my head knew they weren’t right, doesn’t mean my heart had gotten the memo.

10 HABITS THAT WILL HAVE YOU FEELING PHYSICALLY FABULOUS
Stuck in the house? Feeling sluggish? Activity levels slowed? Motivation decreased? Perhaps it’s the added responsibility of children along with that full time job?
Regardless of your current situation, weight gain remains a big concern and the idea of stepping onto the scales is a terrifying thought for many.
So what’s the deal then? Do we just adopt the “Diet Starts Tomorrow” mantra… knowing that Tomorrow may never come?
Yea, sure. That’s an option.
However, if you’re not looking for a little extra love around the middle, here’s some practical ways to keep those added pounds at bay:

ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
I’m about to say something pretty bold and possibly triggering: 2020 was one of the best years of my life.
That’s a profound statement given that uncertainty of the world, the global and economic fallout from Covid-19 and the unstable platform our future currently balances on, but it’s true.
Allow me to explain…

10 TIPS FOR STAYING POSTIVE DURING A PANDEMIC
Has anyone else experienced a wave of emotion during this whole pandemic? One minute I’m incredibly happy, embracing the unexpected time with my family and the opportunity it has allowed me to focus on my business and the next I am a bottle of wine deep, going on day three without showering, sulking around in the track pants I’ve been wearing since last Wednesday. The highs and lows are incredible.
It’s been said, “we’re all in the same storm, however we’re not in the same boat”.
This couldn’t be more true.
