Terms & Conditions

These are the guidelines that apply to your reservation for any of our retreats. Please go through them carefully as they will be binding upon confirmation.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Nurturing Growth Coaching. There are no other verbal or written representations, warranties, or prior agreements beyond what is expressed here.

Your contract and booking are with Nurturing Growth Coaching. By reserving a spot on our retreat, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions, covering the relationship, cancellation policy, and liability limitations. These terms affect your rights and establish the governing law and forum for dispute resolution.

Booking and Contract

To make a booking, carefully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions. Your booking becomes official only when Nurturing Growth Coaching sends a confirmation email and upon completion of the deposit payment.

A Nurturing Growth Coaching team member will reach out to you within 48 hours after your registration. Please refrain from making non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive an email confirmation from the Nurturing Growth Coaching staff.

Note that Nurturing Growth Coaching exclusively offers retreats and related activities for individuals aged 18 and over.

Deposits

For all advertised retreats, a non-refundable deposit per person, along with the submission of our online booking form, is required to finalize your reservation.

You can book a retreat with a deposit until 60 days before the retreat start date, after which full payment is necessary to secure your spot (if available).

The remaining balance is due one day before the retreat begins, unless otherwise specified. Failure to receive the final balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking, and your deposit may be forfeited.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable due to the necessity of purchasing non-refundable essentials on your behalf to secure your spot on the retreat.

Refund/Cancellation

We understand that unforeseen events may occur. If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat start date, you may use any payment made as a credit towards another retreat within one calendar year.

All retreat payments become non-refundable and non-exchangeable less than 60 days before the retreat start date.

Balance Transfer

Full and partial retreat payments can be transferred to another retreat within one calendar year if you notify us 90 days or more before the retreat start date. A $100 deposit transfer fee applies to this change.

Pricing

All retreat prices are quoted and payable in USD. Nurturing Growth Coaching is not responsible for fees incurred due to currency exchange or credit card/bank processing in another currency.

Nurturing Growth Coaching reserves the right to modify prices, and you will be informed of the current price before confirming your contract.

Unless stated otherwise, the price includes the components described in your booking confirmation invoice. Flights, transport, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, tipping, and additional activities or excursions not confirmed in your retreat arrangements are not included.

Medical Conditions & Special Requirements

Clients must inform Nurturing Growth Coaching of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability, or other conditions that may affect fitness to travel. Failure to notify may result in the Client being refused certain activities during the retreat at their own expense. Nurturing Growth Coaching will do its best to meet special requests but reserves the right to refuse clients with certain conditions.

Final Payments

The final balance of the retreat price is due one day before the retreat start date unless otherwise stated. If booked within 60 days, the deposit including full payment is required at signup.

If the final balance is not received by the due date without a valid reason, Nurturing Growth Coaching reserves the right to consider the booking canceled.

Cancellation by the Client

Any cancellation must be made in writing (via email) and acknowledged by Nurturing Growth Coaching in writing. Deposits are non-refundable, and if you cancel after additional payments, your full balance can be rolled over to another retreat within one calendar year.

Cancellations within 60 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Cancellation by Nurturing Growth Coaching

Nurturing Growth Coaching reserves the right to cancel a retreat for any reason, but not less than 30 days before the start date, except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients may transfer their deposit to another retreat within one calendar year or receive a full refund.

Nurturing Growth Coaching is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses due to the booking, such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights, or other fees.

Airfare

Retreat prices do not include national or international airfare. It is recommended to wait until the trip is confirmed before booking airfare or making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Travel & Health Insurance

Clients are strongly advised to obtain travel medical insurance covering personal injury, emergency medical expenses, evacuation, and other potential issues during travel.

Evacuation Procedures and Costs

Clients are responsible for evacuation costs. Retreat leaders' decisions on safety matters are final.

Travel Documents

Clients must have a valid passport and all necessary visas, permits, and certificates. Nurturing Growth Coaching is not responsible for losses due to missing or defective documentation.

Claims & Complaints

Any complaint must be first informed to the Retreat Leader or guide for rectification. If not satisfied, contact the Nurturing Growth Coaching CEO while on the retreat. Further complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the trip's end.

Client Responsibility

Clients must obey rules and regulations and comply with laws in all visited countries. Nurturing Growth Coaching is not responsible for Clients who contravene any laws.

Health & Fitness

Most retreats are suitable for healthy and reasonably fit individuals. Clients must notify Nurturing Growth Coaching of any conditions affecting their or others' enjoyment and changes in health or fitness before the retreat.

Photos, Video, and Content Creation

Participants' photos or videos may be used for promotional purposes unless clients request otherwise in writing.

Retreat Itinerary Changes

Nurturing Growth Coaching reserves the right to alter retreat programs due to unforeseen circumstances. No responsibility is accepted for losses due to changes.

Data Protection

Personal information provided by clients will be used for retreat operations and shared with necessary suppliers. Clients consent to this information transfer.

Liability

Nurturing Growth Coaching is not responsible for improper services due to client fault, acts of third parties, unforeseeable circumstances, or events beyond control. Nurturing Growth Coaching liability is limited.

Acceptance of Risk

Clients acknowledge the adventurous nature of the retreat and assume all inherent risks, releasing Nurturing Growth Coaching from claims arising from damages, injuries, or death.

Severability

If any term is unenforceable, it will be severed or amended only to the extent necessary for all remaining Terms and Conditions to survive.

Successors & Assigns

These Terms and Conditions apply to Nurturing Growth Coaching and the Client's heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

Applicable Law

The Contract and these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario.

Waiver of Booking Conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions may be waived or amended only by written mutual consent.

Updating of Terms & Conditions

Nurturing Growth Coaching reserves the right to update these terms, and it is the Client's responsibility to stay informed. The latest Terms and Conditions may be found on Nurturing Growth Coaching’s website.
